The Busking Project - Documenting Street Performance Worldwide

One of the oldest cities in the U.S., Boston is home to Buskers Advocates, an organization devoted to promoting and protecting street performers in the US and around the world. In order to busk in the city, performers need to apply for a permit, which costs twenty-five dollars. A street performance audition is being held at Faneuil Hall Marketplace on Broad Street on April 16th and 17th of this year. Winners of the audition are granted a one year permit to perform.
