Lisbon, Portugal
Art is everywhere in Portugal. Buildings, fountains, train stations, and parks are covered with ceramic tiles and cobblestone pavements are often made up of elaborate mosaic patterns. The locals are reportedly not fond of buskers, who are seen as glorified beggars, but it’s not uncommon to find guitar and accordion players in Lisbon, and further evidence of Portugal’s appreciation of street arts is the six-day long “Street Magic World Festival” that Lisbon City Hall hosts every summer.
