Marrakech, the "Red City," is the borderland of Saharan and Arabic Africa. At its centre is the famous square, Djemaa el Fna: a place full of snake charmers, sooth-sayers, magicians, belly dancers, storytellers, and acrobats. Beyond the square there is a labyrinth of souks (bazaars), where hawkers offer their own talented performances.
