The Picnic is made up of a group of young performers, two of which are brothers. In addition to performing on the street, Jacob, 20, and Gustof Nilsson, 18, are both ative in local theatre in Stockholm. William Lindberg, guitarist, is 18 and Carl Andersson, 20, plays guitar and occasionally piano. Gustaf and William are finishing their last year of senior high school and Carl studies at a university in Uppsala. Jacob works in telemarketing when he’s not singing on the street.
When asked what they do with the money they earn busking, The Picnic said they buy beer with it. They are the youngest group of performers we’ve filmed and are one of the few groups we’ve filmed who can claim being motivated purely by fun.
These guys are insanely awesome. Love them!
